I really want to purchase another retina macbook pro 13 but the last two I had suffered from uneven yellowing... the 1/3 bottom of the display was yellow and it had slight image retention.

These were purchased from a retail store, I was thinking of trying an online order instead, what are the chances of getting a uninform display without IR?

My late-2013 rMBP 13" display is just fine. I ordered online for store pickup just after the release in October.

Give it a shot

Did you think about refurbished? or is that what you meant by online order?

Good Luck

The 13 inch displays are pretty solid. Worse case just exchange it within 14 days!

Mine's perfect!

I don't have a 13" rMBP but the 2012 rMBP with that said, I'd recommend one now. I think some of the IR issues are behind apple and you should be quite safe in getting one.

The OP has had bad luck with every Apple product he's tried, and has posted a number of threads asking how to score replacements or refunds on Macbooks, iPads, etc.

OK, but that's his issue right. Maybe he or she is OCD / ADD.

Not trying to be a smart a$$ here, or upset anyone, just saying is all.
