Not sure if spend so much money for an old?? video card, or wait for apple to support news atis HD like 6970 or 6xxx series.

Buy an Ati PC 6xxx for less money and flasht it in to my macpro?
Really confused, not sure waht to do, cause 600$ for a video card is ******** expnesive
