Hi! I want to buy an iMac in march. But it looks like Apple will release a new iMac soon. Will new iMac get released before march? Sorry for my bad english it's not my native language.

That is possible.....

Many "pundits" and "insiders" are putting their guesses in a Fall refresh. Me?...Seems plausible until Spring.....:D

:):apple:

So...either way, you'll be waiting? March is a while away.

This.

I'd say the chances of a refresh by March 2014 are pretty high.

A refresh in October 2013, however, is much harder to predict. Apple doesn't seem big on refreshing other products during iPhone launches, because it's a big drain on their supply chain + staff training requirements + floor space.

if they dont release a new imac this year, i think its possible to test a new panel with over 130ppi. Because if not there are no really reasons not to release this fall because all the new components are out (PCIe, wifi ac, 7xx dGPU, haswell).

I remember saw a news sometime back about the interview with Tim and he mention you make the mistake of release the iMac 2012 on Dec and he should have done it at spring instead.

So my guess Spring 2014.

Yes, that because new chassis, new lamination of the screen.
But with new refresh is only components inside update, that all are online and released. Maybe they wait for the Nvidia to make for them that 780MX, who knows

I ordered at the end of August and it should arrive today or tomorrow. I don't worry too much about "The next Mac". Whenever it comes and whoever will be able to afford it, that's great. I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with my 27" iMac.
