Buy rMBP third party, how to validate AppleCare?

I got a great deal on 2015 15" with apple care. How do I validate if the Mac or the Applecare is valid?

Log on and register with Apple it should show up on your account.

You can also get to the same site by clicking Apple menu > About This Mac > Service > Check my service and support coverage status (this has the added benefit of automatically entering your serial number)
