Our small cell service provider - CSpire - currently does not support cell service on the Apple Watch Series 3. Would you buy the Series 3 with cellular in anticipation of them supporting it eventually? Or would it be better to buy a watch with GPS only and upgrade after CSpire can provide service? If so, would you recommend buying the Series 3 with GPS or Series 2 currently on sale for $50 less?

Either buy the GPS only watch or switch networks and get LTE. Don’t buy LTE expecting your network to add support.
I have upgraded from the series 1 to the 3 LTE and think $50 is a worthwhile price to get the series 3. It’s noticeably faster and siri is usable.
