okay so i just bought a macbook black version 2 weeks ago because i just came back from iraq and my asus took a dump on me. well i just read the article about the new macbook coming out on the 14th. And I just happened to come down with buyers remorse, i don't have the box for the macbook anymore but i do have everything else. Can someone help ease my mind here somehow someway haha sex isn't doing it lol

If your current macbook fits your needs, then keep it and enjoy it, but if you care about new looks and performance upgrades then sell you macbook quickly and wait hopefully for October the 14th

well for one i love the black color, is the new macbook going to be release with black?

You can sell it for a very nice price on eBay especially since it is new.

I sold my 4 month old black MacBook on eBay last month for $1280. It was a 3 day auction and I got the money very quickly.

if you have buyer's remorse already
then you ought to sell it or itll bother you for a long time

I doubt 'just enjoy it' will work that well. This fella is going to agonize if they come out with a really beefed up macbook. That is, that's how I would feel.. it would take me a long time to get over something like that.

phas3, trust me when I say that you will enjoy your current blackbook no more than the new rumored macs.

If it's beefy you want, get yourself a 320GB hard drive and 4GB of Ram, and buy a nice external monitor to hook your blackbook up to.

You'll really be enjoying it then.

one thing i've learnt since my switch to mac, new ones come out all the time and really quickly to. Within months, a new mac becomes old.

If you're always worrying about new ones, you'll never be able to enjoy what you have now.

The best advice I can give based on the current situation is don't worry about it now because the new macs aren't even here yet! Have fun with your blackbook now, and when the new ones come out, go to the Apple store and play with them.

If you're still remorseful then, consider selling it.

Sorry, but this is the only real solution for your problem. Apple sure as hell won't exchange it for you. Ha.

so what is the rumored new macbook like what is the main difference between my blackbook now vs the new macbook. And im going to be doing some photography and video editing is this blackbook good enough for it?

the logical side of all of us says "what i have now is good enough, so i should keep it"

the apple fan in us says "i dont know if what is coming out is going to be better or not, but i want it anyways"

its up to you which one you want to follow :)

Exactly, and well put. Enjoy it, and take a look at the new ones when they come out - nobody knows for certain, but rumours suggest that they might be aluminium - and then sell the black MB if you feel strongly about it. Otherwise, enjoy a great machine.
Cheers
