Buying 2 iPad 2's at the same time at Apple Store

I want to go to the Apple Store on the 11th and buy an iPad 2 for myself. My mom also wants one but doesn't want to wait in line all day. She was just going to give me the money to buy her one. Will they let me purchase two at the same time?

I seem to remember the first iPad being sold at a limit 2 per customer, so I think you'll be fine.
