Buying 2012 rMBP

I found a 2012 MacBook Pro retina 15" for $1250 on my local craigslist. It's a 256,16gb ram config and It has an AppleCare agreement on it that will be transferred to me that is good until October of 2015. Does this sound like a good deal? I've looked at the macbook it's completely flawless.

Ask if the panel is Samsung or LG. It's possible that the screen has IR if LG. If Samsung, it might have a yellow tint.

If there's Apple Care on it OP would be able to exchange it anyway, right? If there is ghosting of corse.. not because of yellow tint.

Is there anything else, other than the display, I should be looking out for?

Don't rely on "About This Mac" to determine the specs. Open up the activity monitor and make sure it actually has the 16 GB of memory being advertised.

Verify it actually has AppleCare as advertised: https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do

Make sure there's no accidental damage that wouldn't be covered by AppleCare.

Otherwise, sounds like a sweet deal!
