Hi guys

Ive found an mbp feb 2011 for quite a good price. It is however 2nd hand.

Obviously this will be taken into consideration but does anyone have any opinions about this model, was it ok, are there things I should think about before I buy this model etc.

Any advice would be great guys

Sorry this is its link

The 15" and 17" models with Radeon GPUs usually have issues with video. The 13" model with an Intel HD 3000 should be ok.

I would steer clear of the 15- and 17-inch 2011s unless there was some balance of an AppleCare warranty with it. You don't want to get caught out on having to spend money to replace the logic board if/when its GPU fails.

Thx guys

Ill try the serial number thing in the future however it's Sunday tomorrow and the bidding ends tomorrow .

Regarding the screen size it's a 13' . Price has gone up alot now so might hv to miss it this time around

I had a 2011 15" MBP with a dGPU and never had problems. That said, I ended up selling it and buying an rMBP Haswell when they were released last October. I just couldn't resist. :)
