I recently bought an SSD for my 2011 15" Macbook Pro and I'd like to get a caddy to replace my optical drive with my old Hard Drive. I already tried buying one from ebay but I found it to be really poorly made and it would not fit properly.

Does anyone know of a caddy that fits well in a 2011 model MBP? I've looked at the OWC Data Doubler and the MCE Optibay but they only seem to be sold in the US (I'm in Europe).

Hmm thanks.

I wish they sold it with just the caddy though. Don't need the superdrive enclosure and screw drivers. Also the caddy looks very similar to the one I bought off ebay which worries me a bit.

Is there anything cheaper available? 79 euros is rather pricey.

Ordered it from their website, just more expensive to ship but you can order it from any country.
And yes they sell in Europe, how about you ask them for a dealer near you?

OWC quality and service is top.

Know anyone that sells it in Europe?
