iPod Buying a CD after some singles

Hi all,
I recently bought a few singles from Set Yourself On Fire by Stars, and I'm thinking about getting the whole CD now. Does anyone know how this will work? I bought 3 songs, will that money go into buying the CD? Will I have duplicate songs?
