Sup guys?

I'm thinking of picking up a KNÖS Desk Pad from IKEA next week.
It would fit the Desk I picked up before christmas, MIKAEL.
What scared/confuses me is the following text on the page linked below.

Good to know
Cordless keyboard and mouse can not be used together with KNÖS desk pad.

 Why not?
Would it have to do with the size of the pad? The texture? The material it is made out of?

Also, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Figured since I need help with buying this Desk pad, that this would be the correct place to ask this. ;)

Thanks in advance.

I use a wireless KB and mouse, no problems. The thing could fit about 8 apple wireless keyboards on it!

Good to hear, but then why would IKEA bother posting that on that page?

Absolutely no idea. Just for reassurance, here is an image of them in harmony (not mine, but a guy can dream can't he?):D:

LMAO that is the picture I saw in the post your setup thread that made me think about how I don't have a Desk Pad. :D

I just did some rethinking though, and realized I would be paying $14 Canadian MORE if I buy it here in Germany, instead of waiting until mid-july, when I'll be in Vancouver. Since the first place we hit up once we move, is IKEA, I'll just pick one up then. Still don't get it though.

PS. What clock is that, being displayed on the monitor?

Seriously?

That's a spankin' setup. Where'd you get the image from?

The setup thread.

If a desk pad is at all going to hinder the use of a wireless keyboard/mouse combo I'd have to ask whether or not the desk pad emits RF frequencies or something that would interfere with the RF or BT connection. Otherwise, the warning is plan stupid.
