Buying a Domain

Hi there,

I am looking for some advice on buying a web domain.

I would like to buy a domain (ending in .com) such that when users visit it, it automatically redirects the user to a different website - a Wikispace I have set up.

Is this possible? Do I need to have anything hosted for this?

There's a few ways to handle this, but once you register, your registrar will have the option to setup domain forwarding - does exactly what you need, domain1.com is entered by a users browser, they wind up at domain2.com

Have you registered yet? I'd suggest Hover.com, it's a nice, no BS registrar, actual phone support, no ads/selling, no peripheral services, just outstanding domain registration.

I use 000webhost to host my sites they offer Domain's for $5 a month this allows domain forewarding
