I'm wondering if someone can help me - well, more a friend of mine really. She's looking to get a fairly good Apple laptop quite cheaply and I thought that seeing as the MacBooks are now out, iBooks would soon start plummeting in price. If this is the case, where would be the best place to hunt for one?

Thanks a lot

This would not be the case. Yes, prices will drop, but not significantly.
The best places to look are eBay and the refurb store on Apple's site

In a simular vien, if I was trying to sell a 900mhz G3 iBook (with airport, 640mb RAM, OS X Tiger) what do you think I could get for it realistically?
