Buying a Iphone 5S in the US

Hello guys,

Unfortunately my country isn't in the first wave of Iphone 5S shipping.

As I'm going in the US in october for my vacation, I'm wondering if I can buy a Iphone there.

I know that in the past it wasn't possible to buy the phone without a carrier contract, but now in the Apple store online they mention a unlock contract free version (see picture below).

Any risk of compatibility issue (should be use in a GSM-LTE network in Switzerland)? Any tips or advice on buying a iphone in the US?

They mention 5S model A1533 when I currently use model A1429 of iphone 5 (are they equivalent?)

Yeah, pick that one. Definitely. Or buy it from a carrier thats unlockable (shhh, do it back in Europe, not in the US where its illegal )
