I heard that if you buy a macbook within 2 weeks before a refresh you can then return it and get the new model. Is this correct?

Do you need to return it to the same Apple store you got it from? Let's say you bought the laptop in USA and you are in Canada, can you return it there?

Thanks!

Thing is, if you are wrong, you loose 10% the cost of the Mac when you return it in the 14 day window if they haven't updated them yet. It's a foolish game to play if you aren't willing to stick with the Mac you buy.

At this point, I'd just wait.
