I'm interested in this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120072154880&fromMakeTrack=true

Within insured shipping it works out around £2100. We're on quite good terms with the local delivery people so hopefully I won't pay tax on arrival.

I'm curious, do I need to change the PSU? I could just buy a power cable in advance from UK Apple?

Also, with Applecare, can I buy a US Applecare and register it in the UK?

Anyone else have any stories about buying a Mac abroad?

It's nothing to do with delivery people, it has to go through customs and you will be paying the £350 or so in VAT.

Power cable.

You can buy UK Applecare as far as I know, not the US version.
