buying a macbook air, seeking a decent display to go with it.

title says it all. I would love to go for an Apple Cinema Display, but don't feel its worth the $1,000 price tag.

I did notice this in staples the other day, and it was very nice.

Apparently, some of the Dell displays with IPS panels aren't bad, but I don't own one myself so I don't know. Ever think about a refurb 24" ACD? A little more than any old monitor, but much less than a new 27" ACD.

The Dell Ultrasharp line is great value for your dollar. I have a U2311H and the quality is just amazing. Seeing how I paid $215 for it, it's a steal.
