I am looking to purchase a Macbook this upcoming year (probably when Leopard comes out) for when I go to school next fall. This will me my first Mac.

I'm am currently looking at the 13in white 2.0ghz C2D with 2gb RAM and 120GB or 160Gb Hard drive. I will mostly be using my notebook for everyday stuff that is not processor intensive such as internet, p2p, dvds, word processing, etc. I will receive approx. $1,500 for graduation and after that it will be out of my own pocket I'm willing to pay around $200-$300.

I know that the system I describe would put me over my budget by a little. What other notebook accessories should I consider before I make my purchase? Such as maybe another mouse, notebook case, etc. Software price is not an issue.

I was thinking about instead of upgrading the hard drive buying an external enclosure for my current 160GB; however, I realize that I could have some issues with Bootcamp/Parallels with hard drive file systems, and I would like to install Vista on Bootcamp/Parallels so that would take up a good portion of internal hard drive space. Then I don't want to mess around with a lot of load time by using my external drive.

I would value some insight before I make any decisions.

Thanks in advance
