So i'm finally going to get the 21.5 and am hoping to connect it to my existing samsung 23" monitor.

Will any of the graphic card be able to handle multiple monitors? I dont play games so its just for lightroom, photoshop and also bootcamping windows 7.

Would I be ok with just the base model or is the "high" end 21.5 worth the extra few $100.

Also, I have a mDP to HDMI adapter, as well as a HDMI cable. this should be all I need to connect right ? There isnt any weird apple only cables I have to use is there ?

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback.

Does the base 21.5 also support 16gb Ram ? The apple website only allows 16 on the higher model but can i just buy 4x4gb elsewhere or have they purposely crippled the base model to 8gb?

Thanks

bump.

Im hoping to buy today, can anyone comfirm the max ram on the base 21.5 please.

Much Appreciated.

I should have the "high-end" 21.5 next week I did as an Apple BTO. I went up to 8G and the quad i7 because I have a nephew in college nearby that drops in a lot. His funds are limited, he has an older Vista laptop and he games a lot when he drifts in, so that additional $400 for those 2 options are going to be for for him.

What a great Uncle I am, no?

I use some Flight Sim and other aviation stuff, and edit quite a few images but didn't think I would have needed those additional capabilities unless my nephew was hanging out as much as he does//

It's not about what I need now, it's what I may need in the future so why limit myself.
