greetings
my family has been loyal to lacie for probably about a decade now, but we recently had terrible luck with the lacie pocketdrive 20gb (http://www.smalldog.com/product/38253). we even had it replaced but it just wouldnt work with the programs we've used to back up; let alone just for simply copying folders of files over a couple gigabytes. its just worked out terribly.
we are deciding now upon whether to try our luck with a lacie d2 (http://www.smalldog.com/product/41875), or to just try out a different company. we were looking at an ezquest drive (http://www.smalldog.com/product/39711).
it seems the lacie has better transfer times.
money isnt a big issue in terms of the differences between the drives.
i hate to leave lacie, they have been friendly over the years.
any comments?
