Buying a new iMac / Will old software work?

I'm looking into buying a brand new iMac. I currently have a iMac G5 Second Generation 2.0 GHz.

Will the older software i have on it work on a brand new iMac? ms office, photoshop?

They will work but in the case for Photoshop, you might find it to be a bit slower. Because it was originally made for PowerPC CPU's, your new iMac (Leopard) will have to translate it to a language that Intel CPU's can read through a process called Rosetta.
