If you can I would wait for the next model to come out in June and buy that one, it's only a few months to wait, just what I would do

If you're going to keep the phone for a long time, go for the new in-store. I don't know about refurbished warranties, but if you get a new one you're guaranteed one year of protection and 90 days of phone service.

And you can buy the extended AppleCare Protection Plan, too.
