Buying a New Mac Pro

Hi im new here and this probably sounds like a noob question but what the difference between 3 ati cars and the nvidia. because im really stuck on which one to get could someone please help explain to me thanks.

the 3 ati cards cannot be run in SLI as in windows. Basically, the only advantage of multiple cards is to run multiple monitors at once. To need 3 of those cards you'd need to be driving 5 or 6 monitors.

The nvidea card is far more powerful. If you're looking for graphics horsepower on 1 or 2 monitors, that's definitely the way to go.

hey thanks heaps yah im going to get 2 monitors so with your advice i think i migth get the nvidia thanks alot
