Hey everyone,

I am looking at buying a new laptop probably next summer. My current MBP is very nice, but it is two years old, and I have decided it is worth the investment. My main question is will there be an upgrade in graphics cards anytime soon? I am on a Penryn MBP right now with 256 MB VRAM in it, I know the high end (what I will be purchasing) can be upgraded to 3.06 GHz, but still maxes out at 512 MB. Will there be any change in that department anytime soon?

Thanks.

Ben

- 1GB cards are sold as standard configuration now on the windows side.
- and we have no idea when the mighty apple will update but loads of new processors are coming out from intel next year and graphics cards also so I would say that an upgrade next summer is probable.

i would say earlyish next year, we'll be seeing updates, but the ones atm are awesome so just buy when you want
