I currently have a Logitech Z-2300 2.1 speaker system that is faulty and I am returning and upgrading. Im thinking about the Logitech Z-5500 5.1 speakers, but they are $230 more.
Would they be worth the difference? Or if anybody can suggest a system in the $200-400 range, that would be great. I'm not limiting my options to logitech or 5.1 systems.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. :)

What are your wants or needs? In general computer speaker wise you aren't going to get a whole lot better. There are a couple of options, but you are likely going to have to go into the route of monitors or home theater/hi-fi speakers.

If space is a concern, then your options become even more limited. What is wrong with your current set up, or is it just time for a change?

Best bang for the buck in the $100-$200 range
