Buying A No-Contract iPhone

Hey There,

I've noticed on ebay people are selling iphones without a contract. I was wondering how people are doing this because as is my understanding AT&T has not yet released the no contract phones and also because if you terminate service you must return because it has not been 30 days. any suggestions?

People are using a different phone with the iPhone plan. They may have gotten more than one phone because of a family plan. They are in it for the profit.

Won't be able to sell them as much when the no-comittment phones come out.
