iPhone 11 Pro Buying a Phone in Europe and buying a US apple care

Hello,

Anyone has ever bought their phone abroad and applied apple care from their home country.

Let's say I'm in Spain right now. I buy an iPhone there and 30 days later I buy apple care with my US account. Is it going to work? I know that I can have my iPhone repaired in every country where apple care is available.
