buying a unlocked iPhone from target?

This question is mostly for American's....Im going to the states next weekend and i'm wondering if i can buy an unlocked iPhone at target? Or is the only place where you can buy a iPhone unlocked is from the apple store?

Only at the Apple store.
Target doesnt sell factory unlocked iphones. Just locked to US carriers.

Because i won't be going to the states driving. I'm taking a bus with other people and unfortunately mill creek mall in pa does not have a apple store. But the walden galleria in buffalo does but again I don't think i will be able to go there.

Target was the store that we could possibly go to though. So that is why i was asking.

Just wondering is all.
