Buying a used mac, help!

I'm thinking about buying an used mac.
I've seen two used imac g5s each for sale around the £270 mark.
I have also however seen a used mac mini (core2 duo, 4gb ram) for sale at £250- tho i haven't had any replies to my queries from its seller.
Which would you choose, imac g5 or an intel mac mini. I'm hesitant to buy the g5 because i know it won't run snow leapard or windows. Are developers dropping the powerpc for software?

I would get the mini every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

About 50X faster.

+1 for the mini. PPCs are really dead (sorry, orange).

Well you could always check eBay for comparable models. Alternatively there is a website www.mac2sell.net I believe where you can put the specs in and see what the selling range is for that particular model.
