Buying adapters on eBay?

Hey guys,

I was looking for a lightning to vga adapter, and I see all of these people on eBay selling them for about half the retail price? Are these authentic? How are they able to sell them for much cheaper?

I bought a few adapters from eBay , they work fine

Just try and find a USA seller, otherwise shipping will take forever from china

Thanks guys. I was actually referring to those oem apple-made adapters on eBay. They look authentic, but at half the price, who knows.
