I was all set to buy the latest and greatest laptop from Apple - but the price is giving me second thoughts- UK buyer. My use scenario - Microsoft office, syncing phones, and camera( photos). Web surf a bit ( mostly on my iPad Air)but my Mac mini 2009 is starting to slow down a bit ( I suspect its the photos). Mini is also used as a music server for my AV system. Mini is upgraded with a 250gig ssd and 8 gig ram.
I really want to buy a new mini ( still waiting for the new one apple!!) and have a laptop for work, and to do the same things I do at home.Which laptop do you think fits my use case? Budget is up to £2800 for both desktop and laptop. Your help and suggestions will be appreciated.
