buying advice used macbook pro

Hello everyone. I am needing a laptop to take to take to some of my gigs. I've been looking at some used mbp's and the prices seem to vary wildly. My main concern is that it must have an express card slot (for video i/o) are their major speed differences between the core duo and the core 2 duo?

Core Duo = 32-bit, 2GB RAM limit
Core 2 Duo = 64-bit, bigger RAM limits

I would definitely go for C2D, it's much better

I would stick with core 2 duo the core duo wont be fast enough for you. My friend has a 2006 macbook pro 2.16 ghz and its rather slow, he cant stand it anymore, always has the beach ball ect...
