I'm from South Africa and will be going in to NYC for a holiday in July. SO I decided to take advantage of the exchange rate and do some shopping
. I'll be picking up a 5s as i'm way over due for a new phone, and possibly an iPad Air.
But before I head out and get all excited I had a few questions that New Yorkers could answer for me.
1) Sales Tax. So I've read online and vaguely remember from my previous trips that the NYC sales tax is fairly high. Are the prices displayed in store and on the Apple Site with Tax or without? And If i order online will I still have to pay the Tax?
2) Are they another places to pick up Apple products like the iPhone and iPad that would be cheaper than Apples prices, like Best Buy or something (unlocked of course)
And if you guys have any other shopping advice I'd love to hear it
