I’m looking at replacing my 10yr old iMac with a MacBook Pro. This will be mainly used for my daughters homework, storing photos but also some video editing (I’m a keen mountain biker and have lots of gopro footage).
I don’t want to spend an absolute fortune but I want to be able to make sure it’s a decent spec for my needs and won’t take forever when video editing. I’m not very clued up on exactly what spec I need, I was also wondering its possible to buy an external memory drive instead of paying Apple prices for the larger storage (is that what the thunderbolt port is for?)
all advice will be appreciated
kind regards
Paul.
