Buying an album on iTunes

Quick question on buying stuff on iTunes.
I never did it and I wanted to know: If I buy an abum on iTunes in a PC, will it be ONLY in my iTunes library, or it downloads the album to my PC like an ordinary download (with files and all)?

Considering you can move any file in your itunes library to anywhere on your computer the answer is clear.

Not sure I understand your question. Your iTunes library consists of files. You can't download and album to your iTunes library without downloading files.
