Buying an apple laptop

I would really like to get hold of an apple laptop for myself. i already have a mac mini but its only really good for basic home use like internet surfing. I would like a laptop for college (i am studying multimedia) which i can use adobe cs3 on and i need it to be fast (and reasonably compact). I am in the UK and have about £200 ($400).

god £200?? You can't even get a reasonable PC laptop for that... seriously, you need to up your budget to atleast £400 and you can get a older iBook or a windows laptop with a semi decent graphics card...

Macbooks start at £600 i think

yeah i really dont wanna go back to windows (once you go mac you never go back), i think ill save up and get a macbook, maybe a second hand one on eBay or something.

Aint gonna get a macbook for 200pounds. Perhaps if it were 200 pounds of silver, but not 200 pounds.

You'll probably have to double that £200 to around £400 if you even want a shot at one of the oldest Macbooks...
