Has anybody purchased an Apple Watch from the Apple refurbished store? Is it something I should consider?

I haven't bought a refurbished watch but I've bought plenty of other refurb Apple stuff to be confident to say that refurbished is just like new only with a lower quality box.

Can you purchase applecare for a refurbished item?

I bought my MacBook Pro refurbished a few years ago, and yes I could add AppleCare. I'd have zero hesitation with buying refurbished again.

That's great, so basically you are getting the same warranty as if it was new.

Yep. In my instance I was able to buy a refurb i5 with 1TB of SSD for the same price as a new i7 512GB SSD. The device was spotless when delivered and no issues to this day.

So really the only thing different is it will come in a another type of box.

Thanks for your help, I just placed my order.

I think the aluminum refurbs don't come with a charger. The stainless steel refurb models come with a charging puck, but I don't know if they come with a wall charger. Does anybody know if they come with a wall charger?

recently bought a refurb series 1 - retail packaging, mag cable - like new. also got a refurb MacBook pro and it came in full retail packaging too.

I just went to the B&H website. They have discounted some of the S2 watches. I bought a S2 42mm SBSS for $499.99. Free shipping, no sales tax.

And you have 30 days to return it with B&H, where as Apple you only have 14 days.
