So i was considering buying 20" imac g4 to replace the pc desktop i have now. but i had a couple questions. Would i be able to update to the latest version of itunes?(so i can sync my ipod) Also would i be able to view silverlight content (netflix)?

If you put Leopard/Mac OS X 10.5 on it you can run the latest version of iTunes. But not for much longer. Apple will probably only be providing iTunes for Leopard for another year or two at the most. Netflix will not work on an iMac G4 because it is a PPC Mac. Netflix requires an Intell based Mac for streaming.
