Buying an iPad in Singapore

Hi,

I'm off to Singapore in a couple of weeks, so decided to order an iPad from the Singapore online store using a UK credit card. The order has been acknowledged, but I'm wondering when they ship - and try to take the money off the card, it will fail and they won't ship.

Has anyone had any experience of successfully doing this?
