Hi,

I am currently travelling New Zealand, i have just sold my UK 4S in order to buy the 5 when available to pre order, can someone tell me if i buy one from Apple.co.nz website, so from Apple direct... will it be ok to use on O2 when i return to the UK?

NZ iPhones are factory unlocked and will work with O2. The specific model for NZ hasn't been announced so it may not function with European LTE bands, but I'm 95% sure that we'll end up with the same model as Australia (which is the same one as sold in the UK).

So i will have no problems?

1. I cant wait until next year to get the iPhone 5 when i return.
2. I can afford to get back to the UK and the phone not work!

You will definitely be able to get 2G and 3G in the UK with an NZ iPhone. You will probably also get 4G but I'm not 100% sure about that.
