OK, I am looking into buying a used Touch from eBay. They've been out for less than a year, so I assume that ANY Touch I buy from eBay will still be under Apple's warranty, yes?

If so, then can I buy Apple Care on the Touch to extend the warranty, even if I am not the original purchaser?

I searched around a bit on Apple's website and here and didn't get an exact yes or no answer. I assume yes to both questions, but would love to have someone that KNOWS back me up or correct me.

Thanks a bunch!

1. The iPod Touch has been out for more then a year, I suppose if you are looking at 2G iPod Touch's you are fine
2. Apple Care is attached to the serial number not the user.

Yea, I am looking at 2nd gens.

Thanks a bunch, too!!! Now I can go shopping!

Make sure you verify that the AppleCare has not been voided. The seller may "forget" to tell you that she or he spilled water on it and it survived.
