Buying AppleCare+ from a 3rd-party vendor?

I'm seriously considering buying AppleCare+ for my new iPhone X and in the past have noticed AppleCare being sold at B&H or other vendors. Anyone know of deals out there? I assume I can add AppleCare+ over the phone after I receive my new iPhone X tomorrow.

I am not 100% sure how 3rd parties add applecare+ over the phone, but I know Apple will allow you to do it over the phone and they run diagnostics while you are on the phone with them. They text you a link that will run some test on your phone.

You can add AppleCare online. Don't need to talk to anyone. Simple.
