Buying apps then they are removed from store

I got a couple apps then I noticed they were removed from the store. Is there anyway to re-download when deleated?
I also don't use iTunes to download my apps so there only on my iPod.
Meaning I only had/have one copy of the app.

When you sync with iTunes, the Apps are transferred to your computer. Then you can simply drag them out of the Applications window in iTunes and store in a safe place (I did it with Netshare, incase someone deletes it).
