Ive never really been a big fan of the big stores like Dixons etc

Dixons do however have 10% off hardware at the moment, and with cashbacks sites added to this, it works out not to bad.

If I was to purchase a MacBook Pro from Dixons, would I still be able to take the MacBook Pro to a Apple Store to fix/replace/etc or would they tell me to take it back to the store that I purchased it from?

Thanks

You would still be able to take it to the Apple Store for service.

Yes you can take it to an apple store.

However, Dixons is not a great store. It's prices are just insane.

While I agree, I can understand the OP's reason for going with them. Right now you can get an entry level new model 15" MBP for ~£1395 or ~£1350 if you use quidco as well. That's almost as cheap as Apple's Higher Education store.
