Hi I am new to this forum and saving up to buy a mac :)

I was wondering if anyone in the UK has any experience buying from KRCS.

It is a premium reseller (though im not sure what that means) and i have a store near me.

Thanks in advance

I've never actually bought a Mac from them, but I've picked up quite a few bits of software, hardware and other fun stuff from them.

From my experience at least the staff have always been friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and I've no complaints about the service I've got from them.

Hi there, I bought an iBook from KRCS in Leicester, I had no problems and the staff treated me perfectly well, friendly bunch.

They were a great bunch to talk to that answered all questions. I think Premium Reseller means that they are Apple approved, they do allow for Educational discount (not sure about Higher Education though). I believe they do RAM upgrades in the store (they did for the Mac mini I was considering).

Also to note I used to work for a company that got all their Macs from KRCS, whenever we had troubles (few logic board failures on eMacs) they would accept them back to repair under Apple care.

If you can't get to an Apple Store (or online to Apple), then KRCS is the second best choice in my opinion.
