Buying HD Movies on iTunes Store in the UK

I apologise if this is old and has been discussed (a quick search returned nothing)... but how long have UK iTunes Store customers been able to download HD movies? I'm aware we could rent them on an Apple TV or iPad but have never seen the option to buy it on the computer. Will all movies be available to buy in HD?

Example: "A Perfect Getaway"
