So this is the first time buying a phone on my own and opening my own contract.

So when i go in to the store on the 10th and buy the phone will i only have to play the 199.99 plus taxes, and in a month i will get my first monthly bill with the activation fee or do i pay the activation fee right away?

I believe you get the activation fee on the bill, thats how it is with AT&T, not sure about Verizon...

I always had the activation fee on the bill never paid it right there.And most likely your gonna have to put down a deposit.
