So,
there’s a seller on Craigslist’s that selling a HomePod for $150. One of the better priced offers I’ve seen online. Says it’s hardly been used and am inclined to believe him considering the dozens of detailed photos he’s posted.
We’re set to meet up at a public mall next week but am trying to be as safe as possible in making sure I’m not buying some counterfeit or knockoff HomePod.
The HomePod he is selling is without a box, just the HomePod with attached power cable. Is there a serial number or something on the actual HomePod that I can type into some Apple.com verification website? I’ll have my iPhone with me so will be ready to test out the music capability.
It could be the seller is legit and just wants to sell it, but obviously want to me sure. Ideally I’d like to meet up with him at an Apple a Store but that’s about 90 miles out of the way.
