Hi all,

I'm looking to preorder an iPhone 6 tonight with the knowledge that I am moving to Australia next year and will take my phone with me.

Are there any differences in the different US carrier's iPhones that would affect my decision on which carrier to choose here when I order? I am on Verizon now but willing to switch if a different carrier's version of the phone will work better/have different LTE bands/etc in Australia.

Thanks for the feedback!

The thing is the Verizon version is pretty much the same model as the AT&T/T-Mobile model. Only Sprint's is different but who knows if Sprint will even unlock. No idea what bands are used in Australia so you might want to research that. As far as I know, Sprint's version includes 4 extra bands - 38, 39, 40 & 41. If Australian carriers don't use those bands, the Verizon model is a safe choice.
